Major Lazer

Major Lazer's album, 'Guns Don't Kill People, Lazers Do' is chock-full of dance floor romps and takes its cue from Switch and Diplo's signature style of fusing world sounds with house beats. Here the main inspiration is Jamaican dancehall and a multitude of genre artists - Jah Dan, Vybz Cartel, Ms Thing and Mr Lex, to name a few - lend their talents. 

An appearance at a Notting Hill Carnival party will no doubt launch Major Lazer as a worthy brainchild of producers whose volume of output keeps growing exponentially without their creativity being compromised in the process.
