Makossa and Megablast
Marcus Wagner-Lapierre and Sascha Weisz make up Viennese DJ duo Makossa and Megablast.
Makossa has been at the forefront of the progressive Austrian electronic scene since the mid 1980s; whilst Megablast cut his teeth in the early nineties, playing acid house, tribal and electro to the club kids.
Together they make excellent cosmic techno, cut with afro, deep house and dub influences: a tropical hybrid of global influences, tied up with a punchy, analogue bow.
