Meat Katie
Meat Katie is Mark Pember - a DJ and producer who has held residencies across some of London's biggest venues such as Sonic MookExperiment at Scala and Bedrock at Heaven. On top of that he regularly plays at Mass, Fabric and global festivals that are good.
He's a former member of of the act Ceasefire with Jason O'Bryan and Derek Dahlarge.
He pioneered a brand of prog tech breaks back before the genre exploded and is widely applauded for being fucking great. His productions are lapped up by any self respecting, tech loving DJs and he has become a household name by being an all out legend.
Lately, his releases on Lot 49 have been pushing the labels tech-funk sound which concentrates on more four to the floor than out and out breaks.
