Moby

Although it's unlikely Moby will ever again reach the heady heights of success garnered after 1999's 'Play' - his vast body of work both before and after that truly seminal album have ensured his importance in introducing dance to the mainstream.

His talent was perfectly orchestrated as early as 1991 with the haunting, beautiful 'Go' from the album simply entitled 'Moby'.

The albums that followed received little commercial success despite critical acclaim but 'Everything Is Wrong', 'Animal Rights' and the film score collection 'I Like to Score' continue to earn popularity today.

Post-'Play' it has been a success story which has fluctuated, but hardly dramatically. Riding high on it's predecessor's success 2002's '18' went platinum in the UK and despite the confused departure that was 'Hotel' in 2005 Eminem's number one fan has seen his reputation remain intact.

His latest effort - 2009's 'Wait For Me' is seen as a romantic yet deeply melancholic return to form.
