Robbo Ranx
Iconic dancehall DJ and MC Robbo Ranx has been big on the London sound system scene since 1984 when he and a friend founded the Tippertone System in Harlesden.
Nowadays he is a grandaddy in the UK scene with two weekly shows on BBC 1Xtra and a weekly dancehall showcase in the West End, Uptown Splurt. Guests who've played his club nights or chatted with him on the radio include Shaggy, Sean Paul, General Levy and Buju Banton, a measure of the respect he's accorded in dancehall circles.
Still a charming host with a selection of old and new vinyl the envy of any selector in London.
