Shonky

Parisian native Shonky - aka Olivier Ducreux - says he spent six years 'producing with little knowledge' but in the last year he's upped his ante and feels like he knows a thing or two. But if you listen to his quality stripped back techno and surprisingly uplifting house you don't get the impression of someone winging it.

His first release was on Freak N Chic in 2005, and 'Time Zero', his debut artist album, came out in 2008.

As a DJ he's continually surprising, intense and instinctive.
