Slagsmalsklubben
Slagsmalklubben are a Swedish sextet who make upbeat electronic music. Their name comes from the Swedish translation of Fight Club.
Since forming in 2000, they've released three full-length albums and several EPs. Most recently their track 'Brutal Weapons' appeared on a Kitsuné Maison compilation.
Some of the members were formerly in punk rock bands, which explains their 'powerpop' or 'electro-punk' sound. Essentially, they aim to make bouncy, multi-layered, synth-laden pop-house, similar to artists like Joakim, Yelle or Rex the Dog.
