Soulwax

Belgian electronic alt rockers Soulwax, aka 2ManyDJs, aka the Flying Dewaele Brothers, are two rockers from Ghent who heard Daft Punk and decided to get into synthesizers. These days they rank alongside their heroes, who they famously send up in the unofficial remix Daft Punk Is Playing At My House.

Soulwax is the moniker the brothers use for many of their live PAs, blasting twisted electronic noize and rock over rave crowds, along with the odd electro house anthem. These guys push and redefine the boundaries of what people will listen to in a clubland context. At festivals, they strap their guitars back on and really rock.

With a clutch of seminal alt rock dance anthems under their belt including noughties anthem 'E Talking', and everyone from Kanye West to Madonna desperate for a bit of their cool sound, these guys are hot. They also play an absolutely blinding show.

2ManyDJs are among the best bootlegging spinmasters out there, responsible for breaking acts like the Scissor Sisters. Soulwax, the live PA side of the brother's performing roster... will twist your head off. They rock and rule.
