Spider and The Flies
Despite being a member of not-very-good garage rock wannabes The Horrors, Rhys 'Spider' Webb's side project isn't as bad as you might hope.
A collaborative effort with someone called Tomethy Furse, Spider and the Flies create an impressively retro-futuristic noise, with creepy instrumental pieces bashed out on rickety analogue synths.
It sounds very similar to sixties electronic pioneers White Noise, but as a tribute, at least, it works quite nicely.
