Steve Angello

Another member of the 'Swedish House Mafia' along with Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Eric Prydz, Steve Angello is a highly successful Greek-Swedish DJ and producer. Attempting to get out of the criminal underworld, his father had got his family into, Angello used music as an outlet, using his turntables to fuse hip hop, breakbeats and 70's classics before moving to Stockholm and switching over to house music and club life with his friend Sebastian Ingrosso. His first venture into production was with Ingrosso in his father's studio and three years later the hit tracks 'Freshly Squeezed' and 'Echo Vibes' were created and released on Joia Records, the latter being remixd by Prydz.

Angello works closely with Ingrosso on many productions, under the names Buy Now, Fireflies, General Moders, Mode Hookers, Outfunk and The Sinners. In addition he has produced with Eric Prydz under the name A & P Project, and with Axwell under the name Supermongo, which was later renamed to Supermode. He set up Size Records in 2003 which has taken the world by storm and gained support from Erick Morillo to Danny Tenaglia. Angello's productions would be mainly classified as: house ("Summer Noize"), progressive ("Yeah") and electro house ("Raining Again").
