After spending his youth struggling to move up the ladder of DJ success Steve Pitron moved to London in 1996. He accepted a job with Universal Records and within 12 months he had played in most of the happening bars before he secured a club residency at Substation Soho. Crash opened its doors two years later in 1998, and he became one of the residents.
Ten years on and he's now the Senior Radio Promotions Manager for Universal Records – he look after the radio promotion for acts like Amy Winehouse, MIKA, Sugababes, Mcfly, Fratellis and Jack Johnson. .
He loves all music, but more than anything it's house music that he works so well with.
