Tall Paul

Tall Paul is one of the best known and most recognisable figures in the dance music business, a six foot six megastar who glides around the dancefloor and looms in a terrifying manner behind the decks. He's dead friendly and years of success and partying haven't dulled his enthusiasm for a really up for it dancefloor.

Paul is true house and trance royalty with a string of anthems under his belt and star billing at events around the world. Mind you, he had a good start: Paul's dad owns Turnmills and his first proper gigs were at iconic cutting edge gay night Trade.

Paul has been DJing on pirate and legitimate radio since the 80s and has produced many of the best recognised club classics of the last two decades. The commercial success of tracks like 'Rock Da House' (number 11 in the charts) and 'Let Me Show You' (number 5) brought him to the attention of the pop mainstream and he has remixed for artists including New Order,stone roses, erasure, Human League, Duran Duran, Blondie, Bizarre Inc, Keane and The Killers.

Tall Paul has also been crowned Best DJ in the world in two prestigious polls, in Muzik and DJ Magazine. That was back in '97 though, he's past it now... only joking.
