Outstanding Fabric resident and Radio 1 regular Tayo has been around on the breaks scene since before it started.
It was his decision, along with longtime friend Rennie Pilgrem and newboy Adam Freeland, to launch Friction at Bar Rhumba in the late 90s. This party is flagged by most as the first proper breaks night.
Nowadays Tayo can be found at Fabric hosting Cool and Deadly, the first parties at the venue with a 'backbone of dub'. This regular fixture at Fabriclive is more than a chilled alternative to the madness of the main room. For many, it offers the best mixture of heavy dub and light breaks to be found in London.
