Tim Deluxe

Mr Deluxe is the biggest thing to come out of Darren Emerson’s Underwater record label since it was set up, producing hit after hit in the early noughties and spearheading a move back towards a techno sound. Tracks such as Ripgroove are the epitome of ‘tech house’ - stripped of bounce, fluff etc and based around a spare, crisp electronic sound that makes the dancefloor go mental before the drop. As a producer and DJ, Deluxe has always espoused a certain minimalist, techno sound, and luckily for him it now seems that everyone on the entire planet agrees and the world is waking up to techno and tech house in an improbable and marvellous way.
