Troy Pierce

One of many Americans relocated to Berlin (well, techno producers, anyway) Troy Pierce is firmly enfolded in the M_nus Records clique. He has collaborated with fellow M_nus artists Magda and Mark Houle as Run Stop Restore.

He ably perpetuates the spindly, stripped-down asethetic established by label boss Richie Hawtin, but often has his own take on it. His Louderback project, for example, with vocalist Gibby Miller, has a sort of goth atmosphere.
