Acid house pioneers with surprising longevity who first popped up in 1996 and quickly became club land favourites with a sound blending twisted acid house with mellower sounds and samples.
X-Press 2 are best known in the UK for 'Lazy' featuring a vocal by David Byrne of Talking Heads, which was the tune of summer 2003, topping the charts for a good spell and still getting played out to this day.
Although, if you do hear it played out nowadays, it's likely to be buy the guys themselves or at a slightly retro rave. X-Press 2 have a longstanding association with iconic and now doomed venue Turnmills where they were worshipped for their six hour crowd pleasing sets. This says all you need to know about them – hey hardly puch the envelope but by God are they fun.
