The work of Anya Gallaccio often involves fruit, vegetables, and flowers which are allowed to decay throughout the duration of their exhibition.
A graduate of Goldsmiths, Gallaccio exhibited at
Damien Hirst's
Freeze in 1988. In 2003 she was shortlisted for the Turner prize and in 2006 she was listed on the Pink Power list of the most influential gay and lesbian people during that year.
