Jessica Holmes

A Royal Academy graduate, Jessica has exhibited in London, Paris and Berlin. She is currently based in Camden and works on a variety of projects from traditional gallery shows to large scale installations.

Jessica's recent painting has been on thin, unstable paper: starting with newspaper and progressing to thin crepe. She contrasts these flyaway backdrops with dense, detailed paintings of subjects drawn from nature, often with themes of decay. The effect produced by this marriage of delicacy and strength is quite captivating and she has a number of collectors.
