Marcus Coates is a contemporary London-based performance artist best known for works that combine a keen sense of cntemporary social issues with a belief in pagan rituals and animal symbolism.
Coates has done all manner of bizarre things like video people pretending to be birds at breakfast and perform a shamanic ritual dressed in a deer skin.
