Born in Limassol in 1979, Marina Kassianidou is a contemporary artist who currently divides her time between the city of her birth and here, in Britain's fair capital.
She graduated in 2002 with a BA in Studio Art from Stanford and obtained an MA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins in 2005.
Her work spans a variety of media, including painting and drawing, but she first really grabbed Spoonfed's attention with an exhibition entitled Re-Surface, for which she fiddled about with the very fabric of Tenderpixel Gallery with intriguing results.
