Nadine Feinson

Nadine Feinson is a contemporary painter who lives in Lewes, East Sussex, but works in London. She studied at Brighton University before completing an MA at Goldsmiths and an MPhil at the Royal College of Art.

She produces large-scale abstract works that draw the eye in to what seems like some mystical world before frustrating the search for the figurative.

Some of her paintings possess a staggering grandeur and delicacy. Penelope in particular is a stunning piece that seems ever about to reveal some Eden beyond.

I saw some of Nadine's work as part of a group show at Standpoint gallery recently and it really is amazing. I think she's one of the most interesting painters around at the moment.

She's exhibiting some work at One in the Other this September - definitely going to check that out.
