Former stripper turned artist Stella Vine has become well known for her (deliberately?) crude portrait of Princess Diana, which was bought by Charles Saatchi, and some paintings of Kate Moss.
Born Melissa Jane Robson, she changed her name to the infinitely classier-sounding Stella Vine in 1995. Other than the fact that Saatchi bought a picture, Vine's fame as an artist is completely inexplicable.
Vine was briefly married to Charles Thomson.
