A-ha

Some bands find instant success, and some bands have to work at it. a-ha definitely fall into that latter category. Forming in 1982, the band failed to score a hit single until 1985's re-release of the now classic 'Take on Me'.

Although the press were quick to label them a teeny-bopper act, a-ha have enjoyed remarkable longevity which has seen them produce 8 albums, release a James Bond soundtrack and reputably start the whole ripped jeans fashion of the late 80s.

Still popular today, the band regularly tour South America and Europe, with a brand new English language album, 'Letters From Eqypt' being released in May 2008.
