A Place to Bury Strangers wear their influences on their sleeve, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Unless of course you only have about two influences, in which case its called something like plagiarism. This clumsily named trio of New York hipsters clearly love The Jesus & Mary Chain a lot, and their feedback-driven noise-rock is essentially a homage to the Reid brothers. It's not exactly original, but at least they know how rock out.
