Andy Stott

Hailing from Manchester, England, Andy Stott is a well-established dub techno producer who, over recent times, has expanded his sound to incorporate elements of dubstep, hip-hop and old-school hardcore.

Releasing almost exclusively on the much-revered Modern Love imprint - alongside Mancunian stable-mates Claro Intelecto and MLZ - he's put out a consistently excellent stream of singles and EPs, a debut full-length album ('Merciless', 2006), and already has a retrospective compliation to his name ('Unknown Exception', 2008). Not bad for someone who's only been producing since 2005.
