Animal Collective

Like all good explorers, New Yorkers the Animal Collective never seem to stick to the mundane. By forever hacking around in the way-out regions of folk, noise rock, and ambient drone, they'll never be on TOTP, but they'll always be innovative.

A collaboration between two NY indie greats Avey Tare and Panda Bear, Animal Collective are noted for their exciting live shows, which always seem to turn into forums for the bizarre and downright strange.
