Anna Calvi

Half Italian, half English, Anna Calvi writes dark romantic pop songs tainted with a strain of melancholy. Her lives shows are dramatic and provocative, and she is a talented multi-instrumentalist.

She is working on her début album with Ben Lovett from Mumford and Sons.  Influences include Nick Cave, Velvet Underground, Roy Orbison, Messaian, Ravel, Debussey, Ennio Morricone.
