Arcade Fire

They were Canadian music's best kept secret over here, that is until David Bowie, and bizarrely Ricky Gervais, started trumpeting their brilliance to all and sundry.

Two albums down, Arcade Fire are confirmed as one of the greatest bands on the planet, with a frenetic and focused live show that has seen them sell out massive arenas all over the world.

Goosebumps abound at their gigs, as upwards of nine musicians bash every note as if it will be their last. A band you must see, simple as that.
