Ash

Belfast's Britpop sensations Ash first tasted success when they were still at school, and quickly became one of the best-known British acts of the era with hits like 'Girl From Mars', 'Oh Yeah' and 'Goldfinger'.

After burn-out caused a brief lapse, they returned triumphantly in the early 00s with a clutch of inspired new material and remain hugely popular.

They have returned to their original three-piece line up following the departure of Charlotte Hatherley, and 2007's 'Twilight of the Innocents' is said to be their last album, with the trio preferring to tour and concentrate on singles.
