Way back in 2003, Metal was like a house party. Everyone was standing around looking at the new kids who had new clothes but who were quite boring, when suddenly the Black Dahlia busted in, smashed a bottle over their heads and tore the place apart like the Beastie Boys in the video for 'Fight for your Right'.

Playing death metal with a sense of brutality and intensity rarely seen in modern times, The Black Dahlia Murder certainly sound like the sort of people you'd expect to meet rocking out at a Neurosis gig. The fact that they wear bright shorts and have beards kinda helps to.
