Caribou
Originally recording as Mantinoba, Daniel Snaith changed his name in 2004 under threat from an American lawsuit. The Canadian manages to straddle all the positive ends of both indie and dance music, continuously re imagining his sound to remain at the forefront of cutting edge new music.
His 2007 record 'Andorra' pre empted the recent surge in psychedelic indietronica bands, and this is something he has done continously throughout his career.
