Delta Spirit

San Diego, California natives Delta Spirit have been growing on the American and soul rock scenes since 2006 with the release of their first EP I Think I've Found It! followed by Ode to Sunshine, their 2007 self-produced full album.  The group is made up of bassist Jon Jameson, percussionist Brandon Young, Matthew Vasquez on vocals, Sean Walker on guitar and 'multi-instrumentalist' Kelly Winrich. 

They are often known to incorporate unconventional items into their performance as instruments including trash can lids or orchestral bass drums and many of their songs have a religious or spiritual undertone. In 2006 they were named as a Band to Watch by popular music blog, Rock Insider.
