Erland and The Carnival

Dubbed simply Carnival, EATC are a band with rich musical heritage.
Formed by multi instrumentalist Simon Tong (formerly of Blur, The Verve and The Good, The Bad and The Queen), Orcadian folk guitarist and singer Gawain Erland Cooper and drummer David Nock (fresh from working with Paul McCartney on his Fireman project) the trio are known for their contemporary arrangements of Scottish and English folk songs.
They get their name from the Jackson C Frank track 'My Name Is Carnival' after the band recorded their own version of the song.
