Fat Freddy are one of the best festival acts around, playing to the crowd with a comedy fat trombonist (he really can blow, though) and a frontman who is visibly moved to have made the transition from audience to stage over the last decade.
They have only released one studio album to date, having concentrated on being a live act for many years, but the fact that album went seven-times platinum in New Zealand alone is testament to their popularity.
