Flashguns

A London/Brighton based quartet, Flashguns fuse fast, disjointed tunes with dark, insightful lyrics and organ riffs into a sound that is quite a bit bleaker than 90% of the indie jangle out there (although they are pretty jangly themselves).

Heavily influenced by bands such as the Smiths and the Cure, more modern influences include the Maccabees, the Mystery Jets and Good Shoes, they're effective if slightly unoriginal.
