Foy Vance is a singer songwriter, but before you roll your eyes let me tell you that he's a singer songwriter that's been compared to Van Morrison and Tom Waits. That has to stand for something right?

Combining soul, jazz, gospel and blues, the thing that sets Foy apart from his contemporaries is that unlike the legions of people holding guitars strumming about 'real life', Vance is a masterful story teller weaving tales about growing up in Oklahoma, and being down and out in Alabama and New Orleans.
