Freefall Collective

Freefall Collective are a live breaks six piece from Bournemouth. Their style is unrelentingly upfront and energetic - and they're headed up by the brilliant MC Manic and singer Kirsty Kurowski.

They are all extremely accomplished musicians and moonlight as the live band for Atomic Hooligan. But it's their work as Freefall that is really inspiring. They have a big sound, informed by dub, reggae, funk; it's an organic fusion of roots and contemporary electronic music and these ingredients make them an unstoppable live act.

They've played some of the best clubs and festivals in the world. Glastonbury, Glade, Shambala, Secret Garden Party, Electric Picnic, Egg, Fabric, The Opera House, Dusk Till Dawn - the list goes on, and every single gig has ended with the crowd going absolutely bananas, screaming and pounding the ground like thoroughbreds.

Their releases on Resin Records have been immense: Kermit's Crafty Cocunut was played by Annie Nightingale on BBC Radio 1 and on Kiss FM by Jay Cunning. 100% People was featured on the Rugby World Cup Finals.

Freefall Collective are simply awesome. To see them live is to love them instantly. Burn their name into your memory and make it your business to check them out.
