Goblin
The epic sounds of Goblin have been floating about for over three decades now. If you have patience enough to follow the bands multi-member changes, disbandments and reformations then you are a greater person than I.
However the petty points about the band (such as who the members are) seem redundant when you listen to the quality of their Genesis and King Crimson inspired music.
Their ambient prog rock sets a moody atmosphere and it is no wonder that they have been asked to produce numerous soundtracks for the great Dario Argento. They have worked on experimental and conceptual albums of their own, and are currently getting back into the swing of stage performances.
