Gonjasufi
Gonjasufi is a mythical individual by the name of Sumach, who lives out in the Mojave desert, near Las Vegas. He is heavily entwined with the Brainfeeder label and the artists that have found so much success on it, such as Flying Lotus and The Gaslamp Killer.
Both artists featured on production duties on his 2010 LP 'A Sufi and a Killer', one that blurs the lines between psychedelic rock, lo-fi, hip hop, dub step and all things in between.
A recovered drug addict, yoga teacher, father and devoutly religious individual, the undercurrents of the latter is always prominent in the music he describes as Hindi rock.
