Andy Cato and Tom Findlay are two of the most successful house music producers of all time. The money they make from 'Shakin' That Ass' alone must eclipse the lifetime earnings of most charting acts. They are a bit smug, but it is hard not to like them. These guys simply grabbed onto the biggest sound in dance and made it their own - funky, party house.
Groove Armada are among the most sampled and played house acts and have had massive crossover success, MTV video smashes, and all the trappings of luck. But they do write a good groove and it really isn't their fault they are so catchy. By way of recompense, they always spend absolutely thousands on their live shows, with guest vocalists flying from all over the world, incredible lasers, and troupes of dancers. Their festival sets are the mostest.
Groove Armada want you to know that this isn't them showing off. Their stage show is an expression of love for the buying public. A great act, with an awesome live show, and some genre defining tunes that will endure. It doesn't matter who you are, 'Shakin' That Ass' or 'Superstylin' makes your head do the pill-head chicken-dip.
