Gruff Rhys

Ex lead singer with the Super Furry Animals and all round renaissance man Gruff Rhys (real name Gruffydd Maredudd Bowen Rhys) seems to be able to turn his hand to anything. His output includes acoustic pop songs sung in English, Spanish and Welsh, an electro outfit called Neon Neon and genre bending collaborations with acts including Danger Mouse, De La Soul and Gorillaz.  He has recently set his sights on film making and released his first film 'Separado' in 2010.  It focuses on Gruff's trip to Patagonia to meet members of his family whose ancestors had emigrated in Victorian times.
