Hafdis Huld is quirky, seductive, gorgeous and Icelandic. Creating perfect pop with a dark twist, Hafdis is a true one-off. Having toured the world as a 15 year old with iconic Icelandic band Gus Gus, she left the band and collaborated with FC Kahuna, co-writing their singles 'Hayling' and 'Machine Say Yes'. She also worked with dance producers Ewan Pearson and Tom Middleton, and in between she's made two feature films and modelled clothing for Extreme Sports.
As music student in London, Hafdis has put together a band of fellow students and is busy gigging across the Capital through the summer, winning herself legions of new fans and delighting faithful followers from her Gus Gus & F C Kahuna days. Her solo career has gained great radio support and she returns to Iceland in October for the Airwaves Festival and to simultaneously launch her debut album, Dirty Paper Cup, in Iceland and the UK.
