Ingrid Michaelson

Born and raised in New York's Staten Island, you could say that Ingrid Michaelson has creativity running through her blood, after all, both her father is composer Carl Michaelson and her mother is sculptor Elizabeth Egbert Director.

Armed with great ear for lyrics and a sweet as a nut voice, Michaelson has made a name for herself by providing songs for bitter Sweet American TV drama's like Gray's Anatomy and One Tree Hill.
