Jade Ewan is best known as the British entrant for Eurovision 2009. Beating off several...erm...rivals... which one blog described as "a pair of munter twins and an effeminate, forgettable pretty boy." But surely her true claim to fame is acting as a pregnant teenager on the Casualty?! Mais non?
A veteran of the Sylvia Young Theatre School, she was previously in a girl band who got a record deal based on the music and not looking hot, man. However, Trinity Stone was short lived though she is still best friends with the girls, one of which in Mica Paris's niece, Cherry. This is noteworthy one assumes as most ex girl band members spend their time fashioning voodoo dolls of their ex bandees from soap a la Kerry Katona and Mutya.
Her brilliant voice and the backing of Andrew Lloyd Webber have given United Kingdom their best chance of Nil Points in many a year.
