But that ultra-catchy slice of electro-pop doesn't tell the whole story of the preacher's daughter who had been operating on the fringes of the industry since 2001.

Flitting between dance, pop, electro and indie at will, her eclecticism has already seen her play the Warped Tour and record with POD. She looks set to be a welcome fixture in our charts for a while.
