Whilst a folk atist at heart, Icelandic singer songwriter Lay Low (real name Lovísa Elísabet Sigrúnardóttir) incorporates elements of trad. blues and country into her sound, though her naked and raw voice remains as seductive as ever.
Her sweet lilting alt folk saw her début album 'Please Don't Hate Me' going gold within 2 months and leading to a string of awards. 2 more albums have followed, her last being recorded by Liam Watson at the world famous Toe Rag studios where The White Stripes cut their greatest moments to date. A real talent if we've ever seen one.
