Lee 'Scratch' Perry

Lee "Scratch" Perry is one of the most influential figures in reggae and dub music, recording and producing some of the most highly rated recordings of the genre, in a career that has spanned five decades. Innovative production techniques as well as his eccentric character helped him create the dub genre, and revolutionise the art of music production. Now in his 70s, he lives in Switzerland but has undergone a creative genesis after kicking the booze and weed, regularly touring and recording.
