Formed by two art students in New York, Liars are amongst the fore-front of a group of bands busily rebuilding the cities reputation for art-punk and dance music.
Reminiscent of UK post punk bands like A Certain Ratio and Gang of Four, Liars sneak dance-like rhythms into loose punk arrangements which build in tribal like drones with weird names like ' Grown men Don't Fall in The River, Just Like That...".
Quite simply put, these guys are fucking awesome.
