Manu Chao

French-born and of Spanish origins, José-Manuel Thomas Arthur Chao first entered the realms of the musical world with the Anglo-Spanish rockabilly group Hot Pants in the mid-80s.

Singing in French, Spanish, Arabic, Galician, Portuguese, Wolof and English, his lyrics concern love, life and left-wing politics, and have made him popular the world over.
