Maxi Priest
Born in Lewisham of Jamaican descent, Max Alfred Elliot is one of England's most commercially successful and best-loved reggae stars.
Apart from UB40, he is the only UK reggae star to have scored a US number one single (1990's 'Close To You'), and has collaborated with the likes of Sly & Robbie, Shaggy and Shabba Ranks.
